AIA Chapters Name 2006 Award-Winners

Chicago: Joseph Cliggott, a senior associate with Goettsch Partners, was given the Dubin Family Young Architect Award. Walter Netsch, a former architect at Skidmore, Owings & Merrill who retired in 1979, was presented with a special lifetime achievement award.

Miami: René González was given the Award of Excellence for his design of the Cisneros Fontanals Art Foundation.

Minnesota: Jessica Vogel at Ellerbe Becket and Jennifer Graham-Charnewski at Julie Snow Architects have been named co-winners of the St. Paul Prize, which is given to AIA Minnesota associate members with less than seven years of post-graduation experience.

New Jersey: Hillier Architecture, whose home office is in Princeton, has been named the firm of the year.
