Senior Editor, Design
The daughter of an architect and a native of San Francisco, Katie enjoys eating Dungeness crab at Christmastime. A degree in art history with a concentration in architectural history from the University of Pennsylvania prepped Katie for a job as assistant editor at Architecture magazine. She joined the ARCHITECTstaff as design editor in 2007. Her cat, Mochi, and associate art director Marcy Ryan’s cat, Scoots Magoo, are siblings. Katie is a classic overachiever, yet she still has not gotten her driver’s license.
