Starting with the history and basics of clay and concrete tile, learners will be able to understand how they contribute towards sustainable building design. Modern manufacturing uses computer modeling to help minimize the use of raw materials – creating more effective and efficient systems. Raw materials for clay and concrete tile are abundant across the U.S., helping to reduce the carbon footprint of the finished product.
