A new report from the Council on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat shows that last year was a very good year to build tall. Fourteen more towers taller than 650 feet were built than in 2015, bringing the total world skyscraper count to 1,168 of them. However, last year added a mere 10 new supertall towers, which is fewer than the 14 built in 2015 and the 11 built in 2014. So a good year for tall, but a less good year for very, very tall.
