Gone are the days where flying on airplanes was glamorous. Following suit, airport infrastructure has always been laido out to be practical and utilitarian—not pretty. However, graphic desinger Mike Bain has managed to to make a series of limited edition silkscreen prints depicting abstract representations of five airports. And it's done really well.
The five American airports he chose--San Francisco, new York, Boston, Newar, and Washington, D.C.--are restructured in bright, geometric compositions amidst charcoal backgrounds, giving a new life to the bland design of infrastructure. Read More
