Are you an architecture journalist with a story idea about a brand new project or firm? Or maybe you are a local reporter that's in the know about a project in your town that is worthy of national coverage. We want to hear from you! ARCHITECT is seeking to expand its network of contributing writers, and we offer the prestige and exposure of a national magazine as well as a competitive pay rate. Join the ranks of our current contributors, which include some of the best writers in the industry today: Witold Rybczynski, Hon. FAIA, Karrie Jacobs, Ian Volner, Alexandra Lange, and Joseph Giovannini, to name just a few.
How to Pitch: Take a look at our masthead, and send an email to one of our editors (products, technology, design, etc.). Tell us a bit about your idea, the angle, and how it is appropriate for the ARCHITECT magazine audience. In your pitch, please include a short introduction about your experience (links to a LinkedIn or online portfolio are great!). Brownie points for brevity.
Note: If you're an architect looking for coverage about a project, we want to hear from you too! The best way to have your work considered for publication is to upload to ARCHITECT's Project Gallery. Check out this step-by-step guide.
