City officials have finalized the plans for a memorial remembering the 19 people who were executed during the Salem Witch Trials at Proctor’s Ledge in 1692 in Salem, Mass. Massachusetts–based Martha Lyon Landscape Architecture released the renderings for the memorial which will include a landscaped area, a semicircular stone wall with the victims' names inscribed, and a single oak tree, representing endurance and dignity.
