Minnesota bird advocacy groups recently published a report on the high mortality rate of birds due to the transparency of the glass U.S. Bank Stadium utilized by the Minnesota Vikings NFL team. Local and migratory birds fly directly into the structure's glassy frame which led to 60 recorded deaths over 11 weeks last fall. However, the stadium owners are refusing to make any structural changes to make the building more visible.
