Handel Architects via The Atlantic

Amanda Kolson Hurley, an ARCHITECT contributor, reports on the 26-story residential building currently under construction on New York City's Roosevelt Island, part of a new campus for Cornell University. New York firm Handel Architects designed the building to passive-house standards, and it will be the largest of its kind in North America. The structure is expected to open in 2017.
