The plans for 1 Undershaft, also known as “The Trellis,” are officially in progress. The City of London’s tallest sky scraper, opening within the next decade, will stand as tall as the Shard—1,016 feet—with a restaurant and viewing galleries on the top floors. The 90,000-square- foot project will also create new office space, which is urgently needed in London. The new tower represents the very best of British architecture, according to Eric Parry of Eric Parry Architects, who hopes the project will give the city a innovative push in the post-Brexit era.
