Architecture critic Rowan Moore created his annual list of the year’s greatest publications about architecture and design. The 2015 list includes Elain Harwood’s Space, Hope and Brutalism (Yale University Press), which sheds a new light on the oft-despised Brutalist architectural style, and Sharon Rotbard’s White City, Black City (Pluto), which explores the intertwining relationship of buildings to politics in Tel Aviv, Israel. The list also includes profiles of iconic designers, with a revised edition of William Curtis’s Le Corbusier: Ideas and Forms (Phaidon) and The World of Charles and Ray Eames. (Thames & Hudson)
