Brief: 80-acre development on the University of Puerto Ricos Ro Piedras campus will be built over 20 years and will include R&D, office, hospitality, housing, and civic spaces.

Sheraton Puerto Rico Hotel & CasinoArchitect: RTKL Associates, Chicago. Completion: 2009. Brief: $210 million, 490,000-s.f. building is seeking to be the first LEED-certified hotel in the Caribbean.
