SCI-Arc's purchase of its campus in the Arts District of Los Angeles gives the school its first permanent home in its 39-year history.

When completed, the school's new Robot House will feature a multi-robot platform.

Stäubli Robotics partnered with the school to provide six robots, controllers, and other components to allow SCI-Arc to establish this new platform for its programs.

The Robot House is anticipated to be at the center of SCI-Arc's new Emerging Systems and Technologies postgraduate program.

Measuring 1,250 feet in length, the Santa Fe Freight Depot building is as long as the Empire State Building is tall.

SCI-Arc enrollment now tops 500, while staff and faculty account for another 105.

SCI-Arc director Eric Owen Moss emphasizes that the school's location in the redeveloping Arts District provides students with an opportunity to experience a changing and socially diverse world.
