The last surviving grandson of Standard Oil mogul John D. Rockefeller has died. David Rockefeller was chairman and CEO of Chase Manhattan during the 1970s and was head of the Museum of Modern Art for several years. His personal art collection numbered somewhere in the vicinity of 15,000 pieces, with many of these priceless masterpieces lining the halls of Rockefeller Center in midtown.
