The international architecture and engineering firm with about 22,000 employees, Stantec, announced Thursday that the company is expanding to Hawaii with a new office in Honolulu. To help launch the new office, Christie Fong, previously with Honolulu firms AHL and Ferraro Choi, was hired as an architectural project manager to increase the client base in the state. The company has done work on the islands for about 15 years and with a new office they will continue to inspect transportation, help with hurricane rebuilds, and provide consulting in the field’s service areas.
