  • This 2'-by-2' recessed Careena LED fixture from Zumtobel features MPO technology, which uses white and red LEDs to achieve medium color temperature (3,600 K) with maximum efficiency. With controlled light distribution at higher angles to light vertical surfaces throughout a space, Careenas soft-edged light distribution and glare control are well-suited to office applications.   • Sure-Lites, a division of Cooper Lighting, has relaunched its collection of die-cast, plastic, and steel exit signs. The CX, LPX, and SLX Exit Signs are now available with red and green letters in one universal package. Sure-Lites has also added its EZ Key external battery disconnect technology, which helps reduce installation time and prevents unnecessary battery drainage. The signs feature lower wattage and faster battery recharge time. They also have a die-cast aluminum housing and can be ceiling-, wall-, or end-mounted. The luminaires have a flat plate for surface mounting and a deep back box for recessed mounting. They have profiles of less than 4" to protect against damage.   • Tati, a new line of table lamps from Kartell, features a squared-off Art Decostyle shape. A transparent polycarbonate body encases an internal diffuser available in full-color methacrylate, opaline, and black or in pleated fabric. A chrome steel weight offers additional support.   • The playful corrugated cardboard Scrap Lights from Graypants are created from discarded cardboard boxes. They measure approximately 8" tall and have a diameter ranging from 12-1/2" to 16", depending on the size of the original box. The fixtures take a 40W bulb and are UL-listed. Two types of cords are available: one for hardwiring (in either 4' or 8' lengths) and one that can be plugged into a standard outlet (that comes in a 15' swag-set). Both cords are available in black or white. Scrap light shades are treated with No-Burn Class A fire retardant, which contains no VOCs.
