Project Description

Located in the heart of Clinton Hill, Aperture 538 adds a modern twist to a historic neighborhood. Designed by renowned architect Luca Andrisani, Aperture 538 takes cues from the well-loved historic neighborhood and brownstones that surround it. The exterior, an abstract interpretation of the Brooklyn Bridge, is adorned with an operable copper screen covering the facade - an ode to the borough it calls home. Movable shutters in front of windows and balconies allow residents to take in the beautiful tree-lined streets surrounding them.

Large windows and a modern aesthetic come together to create a beautiful, clean living area. Entertaining is effortless with the space afforded by the open floor plan. Guests can relax in the living room, mingle in the kitchen and enjoy the private outdoor spaces. An elegant marble slab island separates the open living room from the modern kitchen. Artful light fixtures and oak cabinetry set the stage for your personal design story.

Stainless steel appliances come together to punctuate a clean, neutral palette of white lacquer, glass, and oak paneling. All homes are equipped with a Liebherr refrigerator, Sharp or Bosch microwave, as well as a Bosch cooktop and dishwasher. A Houzer undermount stainless steel sink includes a Hansgrohe steel swivel faucet. Blanketed surface to surface in modern luxury, the kitchen is a beautiful canvas for cooking and entertaining.

Thoughtful design is consistent throughout the master and guest bathrooms. Boasting Bamboo White Marble floor tile, Glassos Crystal wall tile, Toto and Duravit toilets, soaking tubs and Hansgrohe chrome faucets and shower sets, and natural light in most. You wouldn’t dare skip these bathrooms on a house tour.

Whether gazing out at the neighborhood or simply enjoying the outdoors, your private yard, balcony or rooftop terrace is a lovely place to escape within the comfort of your own home.

The dramatic copper screen accentuates the beauty and detail of the homes at Aperture 538. The copper is treated to perfectly patina over time, providing an ever-evolving piece of art for your home. The operable shutters make it easy to invite in the sun on a bright day or have a private evening on the balcony by keeping them closed. This added layer of personality provides a finishing touch on each home.
