Project Description

Cityville Cityplace is a horizontally integrated, mixed-use urban infill project in the heart of Dallas. Within easy walking distance of the DART Cityplace rail station, it has replaced a degenerated grayfield site with a transit oriented hub that knits together an integrated urban site plan which includes a Kroger Signature retail store and an LA Fitness health club. Residents are able to walk to multiple amenities and retail just outside their doors. The site plan respects the conventional retail needs of these two commercial occupancies by providing ease of front access and wide visibility, while also diverting much of the parking to a garage enveloped within the site plan. Nestled amidst these uses, the five story multifamily design sought to project dramatically out from between each. The structure's signature form is dramatic, memorable and functional, providing an incredible glazing wall for the units and spectacular large balconies and views of the downtown unrivaled in this region. A curved, front elevation as you enter the property features 8 units with large outdoor living spaces taking in the views of downtown Dallas. Cityplace has 2 interior courtyards, one with a main swimming pool and the other with a smaller lap pool. The main courtyard features a pergola that has colored glass so when the light shines through a colorful mosaic pattern is lit on the surrounding area. The interior units feature wood floors, granite counter tops and stainless steel appliances. The views are spectacular from units facing the downtown Dallas skyline.
