Students were tasked to design a market on campus at Morgan State University that provides fresh foods. This is especially vital since Morgan State University is situated in a food desert. Moreover, the external community was taken into consideration. Market programming included at least 20 market stalls, and 10 seasonal stalls. In additions, students were also required to include a cafe, loading/service, and administration. Moreover, the studio Professor encouraged students to examine the market on a broader spectrum that would allow the facility to function as more than just a market.
