In early February, The 2014 New American Home (TNAH), the annual show home created for the International Builders' Show, opened its doors to show attendees. However, those who missed the show don't necessarily have to miss out on seeing the house, which is aiming for Emerald certification under the National Green Building Standard. A virtual tour is now available, Builder magazine reports.

Check out Builder's roundup of the home's high-performance features, take the tour, and let us know: Does the home live up to your expectations? Can a 6,700-square-foot house truly be sustainable? It's not just anticipating NGBS certification, but also status under Energy Star, Department of Energy Challenge Home and Build America, EPA Indoor airPLUS, the Southern Nevada Green Building Partnership, and the SNWA Water Smart Home program.
