Honoring architectural practices that are committed to ensuring diversity, the AIA Diversity Recognition Program, now in its fifth year, is looking for entries for 2013.

This year’s winner will be joining the ranks of AIA Dallas Latinos in Architecture, Shepley Bulfinch, Studio Red Collaborative, and HOK, among other winners. Each year, the American Institute of Architects selects up to 12 winners whose efforts are then highlighted on the AIA’s website.

Diversity and inclusion efforts are demonstrated by underrepresented individuals in principal positions, fair and equitable hiring practices, policies that support work–life balance, compensation equity based on similar education and experience, and other inclusive values.

The submission deadline is Feb. 6, 2013. See the AIA website for more information.
