David L. Hoffman, FAIA, has been elected as the first vice-president/president-elect of The National Council of Architectural Registration Boards (NCARB).
“I look forward to assisting our Member Boards in their efforts to serve their licensees, the architectural community, and the public,” said Hoffman in an NCARB press release. Hoffman will become president of NCARB in July 2018.
Hoffman has served on the NCARB Board of Directors since 2012, and has filled positions such as second vice-president, treasurer, and regional director of NCARB’s Central States Conference. He is a principal and senior vice-president at LK Architecture in Wichita, Kan., and has volunteered on several NCARB committees for the national licensing exam.
The announcement was made after NCARB’s 98th Annual Business Meeting, held in Boston, along with announcements for the introduction of the 2018 Fiscal Year Board of Directors and six recipients of NCARB’s President’s Medal for distinguished service, the company’s highest honor.
