Fallon Samuels Aidoo

Fallon Samuels Aidoo, PhD, plans preservation of historic American architecture and urbanism with people of color and stakeholders in their heritage and communities. Her engagement-driven scholarship and consulting centers heritage at risk of loss to disinvestment and disaster and the people and practices vital to their survival and vitality. She publishes on rehabilitation and adaptation partnerships; serves on government and nonprofit boards recognizing historic properties’ place in sustainable, equitable cities; and teaches interdisciplinary coursework on historic real estate drawing on her architectural, planning and engineering educations (currently at Tulane University, previously the University of New Orleans, Northeastern, and Harvard).
