Yiselle Santos Rivera

Yiselle Santos Rivera, Assoc. AIA, is the director of equity, diversity, and inclusion at HKS and a senior medical planner at the firm's Washington, D.C., healthcare studio. In 2013, she co-founded the Latin American Interior Designers, Engineers and Architects (LA.IDEA), the leading collective of Latin American design professionals in the Washington region, and in 2017, she founded Women Inspiring Emerging Leaders in Design (WIELD), a 2019 AIA Diversity Program Recognition honoree that provides a platform to inspire and empower the next generation of leaders.

Yiselle is also a Christopher Kelley Leadership Development Program scholar, an AIA|DC board at-large director, the 2019 AIA Strategic Council associate director, and a member of the AIA Equity and the Future of Architecture board committee. In 2018, she recevied the AIA Associates Award.

She holds a B.S. from the University of Puerto Rico and an M. Arch. from Syracuse University School of Architecture.
