The Five Winners of the 2018 AIA Institute Honor Awards for Interior Architecture

The American Institute of Architects (AIA) announced the winners of the 2018 Institute Honor Awards for Interior Architecture, which “celebrates the most innovative and spectacular interior spaces” completed after Jan. 1, 2011. The jury selected five projects this year. The Institute also announced the winners in two other Institute Honor Awards categories: architecture and regional and urban design.

This year’s jury was comprised of chair Brian Caldwell, AIA, Thinktank Design Group in Bozeman, Mont.; Joshua Aidlin, AIA, Aidlin Darling Design in San Francisco; Kiyomi Kurooka, AIA, DWL Architects + Planners in Phoenix; John Paquin, AIA, Statesville; and William T. Ruhl, AIA, Ruhl Walker Architects in Boston.
