John Boecker, AIA, is leading the "Integrated Design for Achieving Maximum Building Performance" workshop on May 9 at Vuka Coop. Presented by ARCHITECT and AIA Austin, the event will feature case studies demonstrating efficient and inefficient systems. Boecker will take participants through models that illustrate how integrative design can eliminate redundancies. Read all about the program here.
Boecker, a founding partner of 7group, is the author of The Integrative Design Guide to Green Building: Redefining the Practice of Sustainability (Wiley, 2009). He was the co-host of the Voice America program, "Building Deeper Green: Reframing Sustainability."

She correctly named Lewis.Tsurumaki.Lewis Architects as the designer behind the renovation for the former Arthouse at the Jones Center (now the Austin Museum of Art-Arthouse).
