A current exhibition of products and materials at the Danish Architecture Center entitled Material World allows visitors to engage with the latest technologies in their full scales. With the goal of advancing sustainable methods of construction, the exhibit showcases 100 materials, sorted according to five categories: green, strong, lightweight, smart, and transparent. These include life-sized building sections, such as curved glass from Herzog & de Meuron’s Hamburg Elbphilharmonie façade—as  reported by ARCHITECT’s own Blaine Brownell—and lightweight concrete filled with plastic balls, which reduces both transportation and material costs while maintaining strength. • Through June 5. english.dac.dk
