UACDC envisions the development of a streetcar system in Fayetteville with this independent study intended to complement the city’s official master plan. The center envisions targeting 80 percent of future development around a five-mile-long multimodal transit boulevard.

Client: “The neighborhood plans that we [typically] work on are generated through charrettes, so there’s heavy public involvement and buy-in from day one. … That is one disadvantage of UACDC. They have the freedom to imagine and create amazing work, but they don’t have the public involvement, knowledge, and then buy-in once it is complete.
