We believe that what distinguishes architecture from the other arts is the dialog between client and designer. Each of our projects is a response to a singular location, a particular climate and the intentions of a unique client. Every project is crafted to harmonize with the history, ecology, landscape and architectural context of its particular location.Based in Virginia, we work with clients across the U.S. as well as overseas, from California, to New York, to London, to Kenya. Our practice includes new construction, historic renovation, additions and remodels.
