The International Association of Lighting Designers (IALD) has issued a call for speakers to present workshops and seminars at Enlighten Americas 2008, its annual meeting and conference. Enlighten Americas 2008 will be held Oct. 2–4, 2008 at Moon Palace Resort in Cancun, Mexico. This year's conference theme is "The Power of Light." The organization is looking for speakers and seminars that will challenge traditional opinion about design, motivate attendees to think outside the box, and reinvigorate their passion for lighting design.
