The long sweeping wave pattern in the carved stone artwork at the entrance is uplight to highlight the stone texture.
The use of concealed linear LED lighting in the curved coffers behind the curved seating highlights the shape of the main reception and greeting space.
The only natural light in the spa occurs at the juice bar café which features a silver leaf, domed-glass roof. At night the room has a luxurious jewel box feel thanks to the added glow from concealed linear LED uplighting.
A marble staircase connects all four levels of the spa. A concealed cove along the side of the stairs with linear LEDs takes advantage of the rich, reflective surface of the marble to create a luminous effect.
The seating areas are lit with narrow beam LED spotlights concealed in slots that follow the curved walls and highlight the rich wall finishes. The use of reflected LED lighting inside the coffers gives a warm and relaxing feel throughout.
In the changing areas, curtains of glass beads create another layer of texture and pattern. Tiny LED spots at each locker come on when the door is opened.
The spa’s stainless steel swimming pool is accented with LED uplights.
In the pool area, lighting through vertical glass fins creates geometric patterns on the water, the floor and the ceiling.
A specially designed fiber optic steplight at the feature wall in the pool has a color wheel so that clients can change the color depending on their mood or if there is a special event.
