Large public spaces, such as a four-story atrium, connect the site's three buildings to one another, as well as to some iconic neighbors.
The foundation's site is anchored by a reflective pond. Rainwater collection and reuse strategies, along with efficient plumbing fixtures, completely eliminates all polluted rainwater runoff and reduces the building's potable water use by 79 percent compared to the Energy Policy Act of 1992.
