Maryrose T. Sylvester, President and CEO, GE Lighting, and Bob Corcoran, GE Vice President, Corporate Citizenship open a time capsule from 1916.
The 1916 time capsule contained filament wire, incandescent lamps, lamp manuals, as well as other artifacts.
On the occasion of the Nela Park Centennial, a new time capsule was "planted" for future generations.
In the newly opened GE Museum of Lighting Innovation, several early versions of incandescent lamps are on display.
