A stair linking the Crib to the floor below is supported on a single box girder that appears to peel down from the Crib’s floor system. The stair itself is a series of welded, bent steel plates, bracketed by a stainless steel railing and draped with steel mesh. Interior staircases lead from the studio level to offices and galleries above.
