BEST PRACTICES
www.bridgingmethod.com
In the early 1980s, construction authority George Heery—architect, author (Time, Cost, and Architecture), and currently CEO of Brookwood Program Management—started developing what has come to be known as bridging, a project delivery method that is, put simply, a hybrid of design-build and design-bid-build. This website explains it all through a video tutorial, downloadable documents, explanations of legal issues, and much more.

To celebrate the 100th issue of its weekly “News Review” e-newsletter, the online journal World Architecture News has assembled a page with 100 of the site's most viewed projects. Among them, the Cinepolis headquarters in Morelia, Mexico (right), by San Francisco–based KMD.
TALK RADIO
www.smartcityradio.com
Since 2001, the public radio show Smart City has examined the issues that shape metropolitan areas by holding discussions with policy, planning, and business leaders as well as with academics, artists, and others addressing life in the city. Host Carol Coletta's résumé includes a fellowship in community building at the University of Miami School of Architecture and time as director of the Mayor's Institute on City Design. Now she runs the nonprofit CEOs for Cities (www.ceosforcities.org).

INTERACTIVE ARCHITECTURE
www.ruairiglynn.co.uk
A researcher at London's Bartlett School of Architecture, Ruari Glynn creates installations that explore the possibilities of kinetic environments and blogs about it at interactivearchitecture.org. He writes that his latest effort, “Performative Ecologies” (part of which is shown above), is “fundamentally about giving our architecture the ability to enter into dialog with us.”
