Pendants often cast light in one direction, limiting their potential as sources of ambient illumination. Hanko, from London-based Cameron Design House, features a 12-volt circular LED tube ringed with cut plywood pieces to diffuse light in all directions while casting a warm glow. The 67cm- or 30cm-diameter pendant comprises 80 or 50 pieces of plywood, respectively, and suspends from three cables that also supply power.
