Project Description
HKA designed the renovation and expansion for BHNS’s move into a larger historic building. The design incorporates 9 Classrooms and associated library, craft, and multi-purpose rooms. The renovation included the upgrade of Mechanical/ HVAC; and Electrical systems; and bathrooms that meet regulations for children and the American Disabilities Act were introduced to the building. HKA was recognized with a Baltimore Heritage 2015 Historic Preservation Award for Adaptive Reuse and Compatible Design for design work on the Bolton Hill Nursery School project.
