Featuring integrated gardens, this 40-story tower is located in Singapore's central business district. A triple-height lobby greets visitors with hand-crafted earth plaster walls while a novel, high-strength concrete supports the building to reduce the overall quantity of material needed. Vegetation covers more than half of its facade while a double skin with floor-to-ceiling glazing helps reduce solar heat gain by 26 percent in the tropical climate. A flora-inspired structure tops the building, adding a decorative accent while drawing in fresh, cool air for dispersal to the floors below. The building earned the Platinum-level certification from Singapore's Green Mark program.
