Project Description
Six contemporary units located in the Belmont neighborhood of Charlotte, North Carolina are a fresh addition to the area’s landscape. The units shift to create landscaped courtyards, providing ample vegetation and light on the small site. Sloped standing seam metal roofs are highlighted by alternating western red cedar and ironspot brick facades. Punctuated by neon pink and yellow load load-bearing columns, the bright colors draw attention to spacious screened-in porches. Individual patios with wooden gates add private outdoor space for each unit. All units feature stainless steel appliances in addition to custom built-in storage and shelving. Tankless hot water heaters promote reduced energy consumption and multiple exposures provide an excess of light and air.
