Project Description
Compra Moda Nacional Pop Up Store is made out of 5,000 wooden parts. It is an example of ephemeral architecture inspired by pin art hence its form and arrangement of assemblies allows reading outside in the piece.
The design and the effects generated through its materiality create a series of patterns where clothes and accessories are highlighted, making silhouettes in its architecture. The piece allows its users to interact with the exhibits, creating experiences that remain in their memory.
The project is a piece of 4 x 8 meters that consists entirely of pieces of wood 4 x 4 x 240 cm, achieving minimal waste and high ecological efficiency.
The Pop Up Store promotes Mexico’s fashion design. It will also be used for fashion shows and other events. Within this space, visitors will find menswear, women's, shoes, jewelry and accessories, showing the best of Mexican designers.
