Project Description
Builder's Choice and Custom Home Awards Finalist
East meets West in this Asian inspired great room concept kitchen. The 24' wide nana-wall maybe opened to the Batu deck, truly create an indoor/outdoor living space. The ceiling is made of Structurally Insulated Panels (SIPS) with exposed paralam beams and stainless lighting/cooling elements. The lighting illuminates the iridescent texture on the white backsplash tile and the silver specs on the floating eating bar and dining room buffet. The organic white quartz counter-tops, with custom water-fall island end panels and mitered edge detail, complement the dark brown cabinetry and charcoal gypcrete flooring (covering the in-floor hydronic radiant heat system). The tall bookcase adjacent to the main refrigerator balances the hidden pantry wall while providing a unique display space. Special storage solutions include an appliance garage, microwave lift door, beverage fridge/bar, and foot-activated recycle/trash containers. Guests and homeowners can view the stone wrapped 80” media screen from anywhere in the room. Not only is this space aesthetically appealing, it is a chef and party host's dream come true.
