Project Description
WINDEREMERE BUSINESS CENTER - 130,000 Square Feet mixed use office retail commercial facility completed in 2009. The project is located at the intersection of Turkey Lake Road and Conroy Windermere Road in Orlando Florida USA. This project abuts a premium residential community which partnered with the developer to enable construction of a building that would have a more residential feel with tiled roof, mediterranean architecture and blend in the context of similar projects and design development guidelines set by the local communities such the Metrowest and the Town of Windermere. The project avoided another glass tower at the site and incorporated some of the energy efficient designs and sustainable architecture practices implementing such solutions such as saving existing mature trees between the adjoining community and the development so as to form a natural green buffer.
The project was budgeted at 18.5 MM for the shell building with finished common area interiors. Archenics - formerly known as Metro Group - A division of Metro Architecture Partnership, provided the full A&E services such as Master Planning, Civil Engineering, Building Design, Systems Engineering, Landscape Design and Project Management Services.
