The California Lighting Technology Center (CLTC) at UC Davis is offering a series of Title 24 workshops this June and September. The sessions will focus on Office Lighting and Residential Lighting, and provide technology updates as well as updates pertaining to Title 24. Classes take place from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the Energy Education Center – Irwindale, 6090 N. Irwindale Ave., Irwindale, Calif., 91702.

OFFICE LIGHTING - JUNE 19, 2018
Instructor: Nicole Graeber, Senior Development Engineer & Communications Director
Class Description: An intermediate level class for energy consultants. Participants will learn about identifying key nonresidential building standards and compliance options for new construction, alterations and additions, compliance related documents, and the importance of staying up to date on compliance codes.

RESIDENTIAL LIGHTING - JUNE 20, 2018
Instructor: Nicole Graeber, Senior Development Engineer & Communications Director
Class Description: An intermediate class for professionals who design, specify, and/or inspect lighting installations in new and remodeled homes. Participants should already have general knowledge of the residential lighting code. Attendees will learn about the latest code changes and lighting requirements for new and remodeled residential spaces; prepare for the major lighting-related updates in the 2016 code. Topics include lighting rebates and emerging technologies such as LEDs.
