Chris Perkins has been named as Crestron's new northeast regional sales director. Based out of the company's Rockleigh, New Jersey headquarters, Perkins will manage all commercial and residential sales activities throughout the Crestron northeast territory.
Leviton Manufacturing Company has opened a new 140,000-square-foot global corporate headquarters in Melville, Long Island. The new facility incorporates "green building" materials and systems and showcases the company's lighting devices and controls. The new building is a candidate for LEED certification, and is the third corporate headquarters in Leviton's 103-year history. The company had been based in Queens since 1973.
Martin Professional and Lighting Science Group Corporation have signed a global distribution agreement that will give Martin access to Lighting Science's X16 DOTZ LED strings. The super bright (RGB) LEDs designed for dynamic lighting applications, including video and other entertainment displays, will be marketed by Martin under the name FlexDOT in its line of LED video products.
