DOE Publishes Report From Solid-State Lighting Market Introduction Workshop In Portland, Ore.

A summary report from the U.S. Department of Energy's (DOE) 2008 DOE Solid-State Lighting (SSL) Market Introduction Workshop, held July 9–11 in Portland, Ore., is available for download at www.netl.doe.gov/ssl. More than 270 participants attended as “voices for SSL efficiency,” including representatives from industry organizations, efficiency programs, and the lighting design community. This workshop was the third DOE meeting to look at how state, federal, and private-sector organizations can help with market introduction of high-performance SSL products.
