There’s an app for nearly everything these days. And a home’s heating and cooling system is no exception. Joining the growing trend of HVAC manufacturers developing new tools for controlling their mechanical equipment locally and remotely, Mitsubishi Electric Cooling and Heating brought its new Kumo Cloud app-based control system to the 2015 Greenbuild International Conference and Expo, held in Washington, D.C., in November. The company-hosted, Cloud-based platform can be used to manage compatible indoor HVAC units and is available for use with iOS, Android, and Kindle Fire devices. See how it works in the video above.
