In architecture the ramp is often not contemplated as more than a way to move from one floor to another. SO-IL's project Passage at the Chicago Architectural Biennial seeks to heighten one's awareness of the space. We spoke with SO-IL partner Florian Idenburg about their steel installation inspired by both the city of Chicago and the work of Mies van der Rohe.
