Sustainable furniture startup Pentatonic, based out of the U.K., is releasing its first collection of tables, chairs, and glassware, this month at the London Design Festival. Made entirely out of recyclable materials, such as cans, smartphones, and even cigarette butts, the innovative manufacturer utilizes an injection-molding process to create singular components. Those items are then pieced together to create whole-piece furniture while eliminating the need for glues or paints, leaving no need for tools and ultimately minimizing waste and toxic resins.
