Onda’s modular concept, with its curvilinear shades, allows for multiple units to be put together to create uplighting, downlighting, or a combination of the two. The unit suspends from the ceiling via thin steel aircraft cables at each end, and is lamped with T5 high-output linear fluorescents. A horizontal elliptical support beam, the length of the module, provides the fixture’s structure and prevents torquing. Onda’s housing and support beam are comprised of aluminum, while the reflectors are powder-painted white perforated steel. www.luxous.com
