Benissimo Systems was founded in Seattle, Washington in 2001 with the goal of providing innovative surface solutions to the building industry. Mike Stupfel, the President and Owner, personally developed and patented Granite Solutions™, a modular countertop solution using solid granite bullnose tiles and components.

Granite Solutions™ is now available in thousands of retail locations across North America and has received national press and recognition for its quality, service, and patent-pending modular-slab system.

Benissimo had its largest expansion in 2007. Granite Solutions colors increased to 14, with coordinating accessories for each. Benissimo also entered the granite and stone care market, introducing a complete line of sealers, sealing wipes, and stone and grout cleaners.
